The base price for the rental for the barn, surrounding gardens and the use of the Walnut Grove Farm Guest House is $2,950. You can set up Friday and clean up Sunday and enjoy your celebration on Saturday.
We are the florists of choice, because that is part of our business. All of the floral work on the website is ours. We work with your budget and ideas (as well as ours) to make the wedding yours. The dried flowers that are hanging in the barn are also included as part of the rental fee. You may have any one else do whatever other services are needed including the catering. All in all this is quite reasonable for the time included and historic ambience that is unique to this space. We work very hard to make you and your guests feel at home.
If you choose to have alcohol, you must purchase guest host liquor liability insurance. We turn that over to a local insurance agent. Depending upon what and how many you are serving you can plan on that being around $175.
If you and your family are not "do it yourself" types, we will be glad to have our staff do the planning, set up and wedding coordinating for an extra fee. Let us know how much you would like us to do and we will be glad to help.
The rental does not include a quantity of chairs and tables or linens. We do have a variety of unusual antique pieces that we use for serving that are included in the rental.
The facility is basically a warm weather one. It is not heated. We have had weddings as early as March, but I would suggest the May through October time period. The first two weekends in October are taken as we host the Knox County Scenic Drive.
It is a great time to make an appointment to view the farm and visit about flowers. We do flowers everywhere and would be glad to bid your wedding no matter where you have it.
As you can see we can tailor make your wedding to fit your needs. We have a beautiful and rustic setting that harkens back people to an earlier time, but is very fun today.
