Vendors & Artisans to be juried for our fall events

Below is the list of current vendors/artisans to be juried for Christmas at the Farm. This list provides a description of their work and their item pricing. A webpage for each applicant has been created providing a description of their work, using their application and photos provided. Click on the names to follow the link to their pages.

The artisans for all our events must meet the following criteria: Their merchandise is: 1) handmade by the person selling it, 2) original art and creativity, 3) exceptional work quality, 4) appealing packaging, and 5) appropriate pricing for the time, materials and skill set.


TO JURY:

Jaimie Murphy from the “Flour & Fibers” offers exclusive sourdough baked goods including artisan loaves, English muffins, rusks, chips, and grissini using organic Illinois grown fresh milled flour. Price range: sourdough goods are generally $6 - $12. She has also created and would like to include a variety of naturally dyed wool yarn, a few hand knit hats and market bags. The yarns and knit items vary in price from $20 - $40 depending on materials used.

Sam Seybold of Causality Crafts creates cozy handknit accessories and nostalgic screen-printed apparel inspired by favorite moments in pop culture. Below is a listing of prices for his work:

  • $4.50 for vinyl stickers, $5 for specialty/glitter stickers

  • $7 for beaded word bracelets

  • $35 for screen-printed t-shirts (Comfort Colors brand)

  • $60 for screen-printed crewneck sweatshirts (Independent Trading Co. brand)

  • $50 - $70 for merino hats, depending on the pattern's complexity

  • $80 for merino fingerless gloves.

Kathy Worden creates hand embroidered dish towels, Christmas Afghans, felted purses. Price range is from $60 to $150.

Jodi Zacovic of Joyful Jots, will be selling “Everyone Has An Angel,” her book that is a perfect family bedtime read aloud, that opens doors for good teaching conversations and is a must have for any 2-to-10-year-old boy or girl who is curious about angels. The book price is $16.34, including tax.
