Vendors & Artisans to be juried for our fall events
Below are current vendors/artisans to be juried for the Scenic Drive and the Christmas event. This list provides a description of their work and their item pricing. A webpage for each applicant has been created providing a description of their work, using their application and photos provided. Click on the names to follow the link to their pages.
The artisans for all our events must meet the following criteria: Their merchandise is: 1) handmade by the person selling it, 2) original art and creativity, 3) exceptional work quality, 4) appealing packaging, and 5) appropriate pricing for the time, materials and skill set.
TO JURY:
Matt and Fiona Cassman of “Ceilidh Mo Ghraidh Creations”, create hemp and stretch bracelets with natural stone and lamp works glass bead, hemp necklaces, earrings made with natural stone and glass beads, handmade keychains and handmade rapped bowls. The price range is $5 to $20. He is applying for both the Scenic Drive and Christmas Market.
Elementary Earthworks & Prairie Punk Farms will be selling a variety of chemical free produce, herbs, and gourmet mushrooms, locally grown in Galesburg. The price range: produce & mushrooms from $3 to $10; handknit, sewn, and grow your own mushroom blocks from $5 to $35. The process of securing liability insurance is underway. They are applying for an outside space at the Scenic Drive.
Lisa Hinshaw creates original art with a folky flare - air dry clay art and original acrylic art on canvas, Kintsugi art, note cards and matted prints, and will be demonstrating painting at her booth. Lisa will likely be joined by Sierra with her dog portraits and character drawings. Her price range is $3 to $450. She is applying for the Scenic Drive.
Jennifer Kamano will be selling Apple and Strawberry/Rhubarb pies; Jumbo Banana, Lemon Blueberry, and Zucchini muffins; cookies and more! The price range for her products is $17 for 10-inch pies, and $15 for 9-inch pies. Jumbo muffins are $3 each with 2 in a box. She is applying for the Christmas Market.
Samantha Knepper of “Minddrifters” creates custom high-quality functional home decor and art pieces: epoxy resin and wood art, epoxy and wood tables, 3D printed and painted sculptures, custom lazy Susan's, custom chessboards and more! The price range is from $5 to $900. She is applying for the Scenic Drive.
Jodi Zacovic writes heartfelt and personal children’s books; Everyone Has an Angel and Sylvie’s First Angel Assignment, that “express how angels exist in our lives”. Each book is $14.99. She has applied for the Christmas Market.
