Artisan Gifts
View the work of artisans from the region and chat with them about their work. Purchase unique gifts for home, friends and family. Enjoy the creativity! More than 30 artisan booths will be located throughout the barn and barn yard.

Kids Rock the Arts Contest

Walnut Grove Farm, Blick Art Materials and the Galesburg Community Arts Center are sponsoring the 6th Annual Kids Rock the Arts Contest! One hundred school age children from the region have entered this two-dimensional art contest and are showcasing their work and vying for Blick Art Materials gift certificates. The work will be displayed during the Scenic Drive!


Pumpkins and Fall Produce provided by Huizenga Family Farm. On sale in front of the barn!

  • Kid Activities: Ride on a Tractor-Pulled Hay Wagon; Draw at the Art Table; Visit Pasture Raised Chickens with Roosters Crowing; Press Apples!

  • Daily Book Readings at 10:00 AM with Janet Tolle reading from Silas, the Great House Cat and Nellie and the Runaway Drone.

Food for the Barn Fest

Andrew Keener with “The Watering Hole Food Truck” offers menu items that are handheld, unique, and suited to every event. You will find the truck just down the entrance ramp to the barn.

Walnut Grove Farm is one of eight stops on the Knox County Scenic Drive.
